I've been picking up a t-shirt at every concert I've been to since I was 17. This is a costly habit that I often consider giving up, and not just because of the dent it puts in my wallet. Most concert shirts aren't even that stylish! Aside from a few that I keep for sleeping/exercising, most end up sitting in storage. All the more reason to treasure this cool Bjork one I bought last year.

Bjork t-shirt: Bought at Virgin Fest Toronto '07
Skirt: Vintage Oscar de la Renta via the Getup
Earrings: tragically forgotten Etsy seller
Shoes: Thrifted

Nothing says sexy reclining pose like a parking lot!

I made this little ring by hot-gluing a button to a metal band. Hopefully it makes up for the fact that I've been too busy to paint my nails in weeks.

that's only the second outfit i've seen of you and i love it again! that's such a great way of combining a tee with a more dressy skirt (which i just adore, btw!). and the shoes are just pretty!
i wish i had bought at least some of the t-shirts they sell at concerts. never bought one in my life, they always seem so expensive.
I know what you mean about the expensive-ness... I buy way too many too. The other bad thing is that usually all the small sizes are gone so you buy the bigger size (and never wear it).
I should start pairing some more of mine with skirts. You look great!
Your legs are all kooky crazy in that second pic. Like somebody was drawing them but got distracted partway through.
love the skirt! and the shoe are great
I love the red on the skirt and how it goes with your shirt!
wow girl red is an amazing color on you!
I really like the second picture. Reclining in a parking lot = the epitome of class.
Great shoes and outfit!
ooh cool tshirt.i love bjork.really love the outfit, and the homemade ring is great!mwahxx
nothing makes me happier than a primary-colour outfit!
Never buy band t-shirts, always seem expensive for something I'll rarely wear but I'm totally regretting it now! Great idea to dress the skirt down/the t-shirt up!
And I love your button ring.
Now I read this, I just smashed myself haha. Last week thursday I was at a concert of Lostprophets and now I feel stupid that I didn't bought a t-shirt haha. But again I adore your outfit. I'm loving the skirt and everything.
I have a whole box full of concert tee too. I keep thinking that someday I'll be glad I have all of them, but for now they're just sitting around.
ps-ive just tagged you darling xx
Darling, thank you for you ultra sweet comment as always!
If a girl can make a T-shirt looks CHIC and FEMININE, the girl has got the style! I love red T-shirt something sharp and individual! The colour even matches the red on your hair! You make it look much better than a usual concert T-shirt I've got!
And the earrings, ring and the shoes - you look divine!
Ohyes, I have this habit too! I HAVE to buy the band shirt when I go for gigs. Even though they are expensive & sometimes, far too big, I just buy them!
Btw, the t-shirt looks great with the skirt! I love it! you always manage to make anything look so chic & stylish :)
I too have this habit!! I mainly use mine for exercising too :)
I have added you to my blogroll, hope you don't mind!

I'm like you, even if concert tees are priced at an outrageous $60 I feel like I have to get one just like when I was 14.
I must say they have gotten a lot nicer looking since then and I am loving how you styled yours!

I like that skirt! and your shoes are awesome too! nice combo :D
You look incredible! I always found it hard to dress down a skirt of a similar design, and you've just showed me how! Thank you so much:)
I only have one T from a concert - a Rolling Stones one, with the famous mouth nonetheless. I had forgotten about it *lol* and it did cost 30€ for a simple cotton tee!
Amazing, I used to be really into gig shirts too as they always bring back memories. You look wonderfully poised as usual ;)
oh i really love it! great outfit.

Do you by the way keep all the t-shirts that you buy at concerts? I have the same habit, and right now I have about 20 different t-shirts...but mine are not as beautiful as your's...
I ADORE your heels! They are gorgeous!!
